    List of Ingredients




    2 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 lb. ground beef (lean)
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 (5 oz.) can water chest nuts, drained and chopped fine

    Advance preparation: Combine first 5 ingredients, add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Form into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and freeze firm. Remove from cookie sheet to plastic bag. Return to freezer.

    Before serving: Place frozen meat balls on 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. This makes approximately 5 dozen.

    The meat balls can be cooked immediately after mixing if you like. It is really a good stand-by food for those late evening snacks.
