List of Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 beaten egg
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce, divided
1/2 c dry Italian bread crumbs
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green pepper
1 tsp oregano, divided
1 tsp Lawry salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 lbs ground beef
1/2 c shredded mozzerella cheese
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, divided
Recipe
In food processor, chop the onion and green pepper together until very fine texture. Then in large bowl, combine the egg, half tomato sauce/oregano/Parm cheese, bread crumbs and the onion/gr pepper. Add beef and mozz cheese and mix well.
Pat into 9 x 9 or 8 x 8 pan (spray with Pam first). Cover with aluminum foil. Bake 400� for an hour. 10 mins before done, remove foil, and pour remaining tomato sauce over meatloaf. Sprinkle with remaining oregano and parm cheese. You may also want to sprinkle a little add'l mozz cheese too. Continue to bake for the last 10 mins.
