    List of Ingredients




    1 pound lean ground beef
    2/3 cup evaporated milk (the small size can)
    1/3 cup fine bread crumbs (I use Ritz or cheese crackers)
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    Dash of pepper
    2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes (opt.)
    3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    3 medium onions, sliced
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    1 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients down to and including the dash of pepper. Shape into a loaf. Place in greased 9x13 pan. Place vegetables in layers around meat. Sprinkle with parsley flakes and salt. Cover with foil. Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes longer. Serves 4.

    I use a covered roaster pan instead of the 9x13 pan because I normally double the recipe.
