    List of Ingredients




    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup milk
    1-1/2 lbs. ground beef or meatloaf mix
    1 cup bread crumbs, Italian or plain
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 cup chopped parsley (or 1/4 cup parsley flakes)
    1 Tbs. horseradish
    Salt and pepper to taste
    8 oz. can tomato sauce (plus equal amount of water, mixed together)

    Heat large skillet with a tight lid (or a Dutch oven), until hot. In
    a large bowl, beat the egg, add milk, ground beef and remainin
    ingredients. Mix well, shape into a loaf, add to hot pan, brown well
    and flip over using a large turning spoon. Brown the other side,
    discard the fat. Add the tomato sauce and water. Cover, bring to a
    low boil. Simmer 30-40 minutes.

    Notes: Two or three potatoes, quartered or thick-sliced may be added
    to the tomato sauce, if desired.
