Posted by: bluemooner I bought some beautiful blueberries at Costco and make these muffins today. I made them last year also and they are absolutely the best muffins I have ever eaten. Thanks Dowie for an outstanding recipe. I shared a few with a neighbor and a friend and they agreed with how yummy they were
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk or milk (I used light cream)
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups blueberries
Recipe
Cream the softened butter and sugar and salt by hand or mixer until light. Beat in eggs and milk. Add flour and baking powder and lightly mix. Fold in blueberries.
Spoon into 12 muffin tins. Sprinkle some sugar over the top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes
