    Posted by: yank22*********This pie crust is indestructible. I've given this recipe to several who claimed they could not make pie crust, and I made believers out of them

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 cups Crisco
    1/3 cup cold water
    1 egg, beaten slightly

    Recipe



    Blend flour, salt and Crisco until size of large peas. Beat egg slightly with fork, then put in cold water and beat again. Blend with flour mixture. Makes 2 double pie crusts.

    Bake double crusted pies at 450 for 10 minutes, then turn down to 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
