Mr. Food's Easy As Pie: My Own Pie Crust

    Source of Recipe

    BBR

    List of Ingredients

    1-1/2 Cup Flour
    1 Teaspoon Salt
    2 Tablespoons Sugar
    1/2 Cup Oil
    2 Tablespoons Cold Milk

    Recipe

All we do is sift (with a sifter or even with a plain strainer), 1-1/2 cups flour with 1 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoons sugar right into the pie plate. In a measuring cup, beat together 1/2 cup oil and 2 tablespoons cold milk. Pour that right over the flour, give it a quick mix with a fork, just enough to moisten the flour, and press it into the pie plate. Now we can prick it all over with a fork and bake it at 425°F. for about 15 minutes. This is THE BEST pie crust for those who don't like to make pies. It tastes like a cross between Graham Cracker and Regular crust. It is only for a bottom crust so it is great for Cream pies, custards, Dutch Apple and Pumpkin
this is MARVELOUS and OH, SO, EASY..barb
