    List of Ingredients




    Ingredients:
    Crumbs:
    1/2 c. sugar
    1-1/8 c. flour
    9 T. butter, softened

    Filling:
    5 c. Rome apples (5 -7 apples) (sliced thinly)
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 t. cinnamon

    Pie shell:
    1-1/2 c. flour
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    7 T. Water, ice cold
    Mix dry ing. Work in shortening until resembles crumbs. Work in cold water. Roll out thin on floured surface. Put in pie pan.

    400 oven
    Mix crumb topping together until crumbly
    Sit aside

    Put pie shell in pie pan
    Mix apples mixture, pour into pie shell

    Cover with topping

    Bake 35 - 40 min.
