    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c. sugar
    3 T. flour
    2 cans (15 oz each) pitted tart cherries, drained
    1 c. sour cream
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 t. almond ext.
    1 unbaked pie crust

    TOPPING

    1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
    1/3 c. flour
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 t. ground cinnamon
    1/4 c. (1 stick) cold butter
    1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

    In large bowl combine the sugar, flour, cherries, sour cream, egg and extract. Stir well. Spoon into the pie crust and bake for 20 minutes.

    For topping, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans. Sprinke over filling. Cover edges of crust to prevent over browning. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until topping is lightly browned. Cool for 1 hour. Store in refrigerator
