    List of Ingredients

1 double crust for a deep dish pie(unbaked) A must otherwise you will waste a whole bunch of apple filling.
    3/4 cup sugar( I used a 1/2 cup)
    3 Tbs cornstartch
    1/2 tsp Wakins ground cinnamon
1 tsp Watkins Vanilla-nut extract( I used a combo of vanilla and almond)
    6 cups thinly sliced apples
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup carmel topping( I used melted butterscothch chips)
1(16-oz) container of whipped cream topping(Optional) ( Next time I would not use)
2-(6-oz. packages of cream cheese)That is the way the recipe was written. ( 12 ounces

    Recipe

Preheat the oven and cookie sheet to 400. ( I heated to 375)
Stir together the sugar, cornstartch and cinnamon. Toss with the apples and vanilla-nut extract.
Press the softened cream cheese into the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Pour in the apple mixture. Drizzle with the carmel topping. Sprinkle with the nuts. Place the second pie crust over the apple filling and press the edges and crimp to seal. Cut slits in the top to allow steam to escape. Sprinkle with sugar( I brushed the top crust with milk first) Bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool 1 hour before slicing. Serve with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream and coffee. Bon Apetite! ~Janie~

    * This pie would make any "Midnight Buffet Table" on a cruise ship
