    2 lbs. ground ham
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    2 eggs
    1 cup finely crushed saltine crackers (about 30 squares)
    ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    1 cup milk

    Mix well and shape into a loaf in a shallow pan. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 ¼ -1 ½ hours. Drain off any accumulated fat, pour glaze over loaf and continue baking 30 minutes.

    Ham Loaf Glaze

    ¾ cup brown sugar
    1 ½ teaspoons prepared mustard
    3 Tablespoons cider vinegar
    2 Tablespoons water

    Mix until combined.
