    List of Ingredients




    6 slices of bread (any kind)
    2 tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 cup raisins, opt.
    2 tbsp. + 1/2 cup sugar
    4 eggs
    2 cups milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Preheat oven to 350º and spray a 1-1/2 qt. baking dish.
    Mix ingredients together and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.

    Vanilla Sauce Makes:2 cups
    Sift together in a saucepan:
    1/4 cup salt
    1 cup sugar
    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    Add gradually and stiring constantly:
    2 cups boiling water. Continue to stir. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat: add 1/4 cup butter and 2 tsp. vanilla.


    We always double the pudding recipe for our family and triple the sauce recipe so everyone can have extra, plus everyone wants to take some of each home with them.
