Herbed Lentils and Brown Rice

List of Ingredients
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
¾ cup dried lentils
¾ cup chopped onion
½ cup uncooked brown rice
3½ cups chicken broth
¼ cup Burgundy
½ teaspoon basil
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
Combine ½ cup cheese and remaining ingredients in sprayed 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350º for 2 hours or until lentils are tender, stirring occasionally. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes more until cheese melts. 6-8 servings.
I accidentally put in barley instead of rice, and it was very good, also
