    List of Ingredients




    2 pkg. yeast
    3 cups warm water
    7 cups flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. dry milk
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. shortening

    Recipe



    Dissolve yeast in 1/4c. warm water, add, 2 T. sugar and let set until foamy. Add rest of water, sugar, salt, shortening and eggs. Mix well. Combine flour and dry milk. Stir into liquid mixture and mix well. Knead until shiny. Place in a greased bowl and let raise until doubled in size. Roll out and spread generously with butter or margarine and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and slice about 3/4 to 1 " thick. Place in greased pan and allow to raise again until about doubled. Bake @ 350 until golden brown.

    Icing:
    1-1 lb. box powdered sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    3 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 T. dry milk
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. mapline (she used maple syrup)
    1/8 tsp. almond extract
    milnot (canned milk)

    Mix all ingredients except milnot. Add enough milnot to make icing pourable. Pour over cinnamon rolls while still hot.
