    List of Ingredients




    1 C water
    1 egg
    1 t salt
    1/4 c butter
    1/4 c sugar
    4 C bread flour
    2 t instant yeast

    Recipe



    Place ingredients in bread machine pan in order suggested by manufacturer. Prepare on "dough" setting. When dough cycle is finished, punch down the dough and let rest for 10 min. May be placed in a zippered plastic bag and refrigerated at this point. Place on lightly floured surface and knead a few times to adjust texture. Pinch or squeeze off balls of dough slightly larger than golf ball. Place on lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400 for 12 minutes.

    NOTES: after first rising, dough may be stored in the refrigerator up to 5 days until ready to use. Allow at least 1 1/2 hours for second rise after refrigeration.
