    List of Ingredients

    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp pure honey
3/4 c. very warm milk (reduced fat if desired)
    1 package yeast
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 egg, beaten, at room temperature

    Recipe

Mix warm milk, honey, yeast and 1/3 c flour.
Stir well, add 1 c flour, olive oil and egg.
Beat with a fork or electric mixer on low speed 1 minute,
    scraping bowl frequently.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
Place dough on lightly floured surface.
Knead about 5 minutes or until dough is smooth and springy.
Place dough in large bowl greased with olive oil, turning dough to grease all
    sides.
Cover bowl loosely with plastic warp and let rise in warm place about 1 hour or
    until double.
Dough is ready if indentation remains when touched.
Grease cookie sheet with olive oil.
Gently push fist into dough to deflate.
Roll each half into 12" circle on floured surface.
    Spread with softened butter.
    Cut circle into 16 wedges.
Roll up each wedge, beginning at rounded edge.
Place rolls, with points underneath, on cookie sheet and curve slight.
    Brush with butter.
Cover loosely with plastic warp and let rise in warm place about 30 minutes or
    until double.
    Heat oven to 375F.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve warm or cool.
    Makes 16 rolls
