    2/3 cup corn meal, Quaker or Albers
    1/3 cup flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 egg, beaten
    2 tablespoons oil
    1/2 cup milk
    1 package hotdogs

    Recipe



    combine corn meal, flour and salt, mix and all egg, oil and milk...

    coat each dog with flour and dip into corn meal mixture, coating on all sides...

    fry afew at a time in hot oil (375 degrees) till golden brown....drain on layers of paper towels...

    I used a pie plate to mix the corn meal etc...and use only regular corn meal and flour...NOT self rising...

    this recipe is also used to making their recipe of onion rings...

    peel 2 large onions and cut into 1/4 inch slices, separate into rings and place in a large bowl of cold water for 15 minutes...drain off water and coat rings in flour and dip in batter...fry like dogs...
