    Lemon Pepper Seasoning
    Ingredients:
    grated peel of 1/2 lemon (not the white part underneath)
    2 teaspoons dried parsley
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
    1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    Mix together and store in a covered container. Use in tuna salads, seafood, or dressings

    Bouquet Garni Seasoning
    Ingredients:
    1 tablespoon dried parsley
    1 tablespoon dried thyme
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    1 teaspoon dried rosemary
    1 teaspoon dried basil
    1/2 teaspoon ground bay leaves
    Combine parsley, thyme, oregano, rosemary, basil, and bay leaves; store in an airtight container. Use in stews,soups seafood, chicken or vegetables. Makes 3 tablespoons. Store covered tightly.

    Seafood Seasoning Blend
    Ingredients:
    1 tablespoon ground bay leaves
    2 1/2 teaspoons celery salt
    1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
    3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    Combine bay leaves, celery salt, dry mustard, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, paprika, and cayenne. Store in an airtight container. You can use this as a substitute for Old Bay or other seafood seasonings. It's good on chicken as well.

    Italian Herb Blend
    Ingredients:
    Use 1 tablespoon each of the following:
    dried oregano
    dried marjoram
    dried thyme
    dried basil
    dried rosemary
    dried sage
    Grind or crush the dried herbs and mix together. Place into a jar and seal tightly. Store in a cool dark place

    Cajun Seasoning
    Ingredients:
    1 tablespoon dried ground thyme
    1 tablespoon dried ground marjoram
    1 tablespoon fennel seeds, crushed
    1 tablespoon cumin
    2 tsp. cayenne pepper-more if you want more heat
    1 tablespoon paprika
    1 tablespoon dehydrated onion
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    Mix all ingredients well, and pour into jar and seal tightly. Store in a cool, dark place

    Mexican Seasoning
    Ingredients:
    1 tablespoon ground dried oregano
    1 tablespoon ground chile pepper
    1 tablespoon cumin
    1 tablespoon coriander
    1 tablespoon paprika
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    Mix all ingredients well, pour into a jar and seal tightly. Store in a cool, dark place.

    Taco Seasoning
    Ingredients:
    1/8 cup salt (you can leave this out)
    1/4 cup chili powder
    1 tablespoon dried oregano
    2 tablespoons crushed dried red pepper
    2 tablespoons ground cumin
    Add about 2 tablespoons dry mix to one pound
    browned and drained ground beef and add 1/2 cup
    water. Simmer until the water has reduced-stirring
    often. I also add this to beef roast in the crockpot
    that I shred and use in taco shells. It can be
    sprinkled on chicken breasts before grilling or used
    in chili recipes.

    Vegetable Broth Blend
    Ingredients:
    2 tablespoons celery seeds
    4 tablespoon dried parsley
    6 teaspoons garlic powder
    6 teaspoons kosher salt
    6 teaspoons dried summer savory
    2 teaspoons dried marjoram
    2 teaspoons dried thyme
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon turmeric
    1 teaspoon dried sage
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    1/4 teaspoon dill weed
    Mix together and store in airtight container. To make a cup of broth for sipping use one teaspoon with one cup of boiling water. You can also add to soups and stews as a seasoning.

    Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix Recipe
    1 tablespoon garlic salt
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon sugar
    2 tablespoons dried oregano
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 teaspoon dried basil
    1 tablespoon parsley -- freeze-dried
    1/8 teaspoon mustard powder
    1 envelope Lipton cup-a-soup cream of chicken
    (* see note
    1/4 teaspoon celery salt
    2 tablespoons seasoned salt -- (or Mrs. Dash)
    1 tablespoon dried grated lemon peel
    Mix all ingredients together and force through a fine mesh sieve
    with back of a large spoon. Store covered and use within 4-5
    months. For use: Combine 2 tablespoons of mix with 1/4 cup
    vinegar, 2/3 cups oil, 2 tablespoons water. Shake mixture
    vigorously.
    Makes 1 cup.
    NOTES : * Use 1 envelope of the soup mix or 2 square soda
    crackers well crushed- plus 1.5 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
    plus 1 teaspoon non dairy creamer powder
