List of Ingredients
4 Servings
2 tblsps margarine OR butter
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3-1/2 cups Rice Chex brand cereal, divided
1 (3.4 oz) pkg instant banana cream pudding & pie filling mix
2 cups milk
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
4 cherries, optional
Recipe
In small microwave-safe bowl, melt margarine on HIGH (100% power) 30-45 seconds. Add brown sugar & vanilla to melted margarine; mix well.
Into large resealable plastic bag, pour cereal. Seal top of bag. Shake bag until pieces are coated. Pour contents of bag into large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100% power) 2 to 2-1/2 mins, stirring every min. Spread on paper towels to cool.
Set aside 1/2 cup cereal mixture.
Prepare pudding mix with 2 cups milk as directed on pkg. Add bananas to pudding.
In 4 - 4-1/2" X 2" custard dishes, alternate layers of cereal mixture, pudding & chocolate syrup utnil dishes are filled.
Crush reserved cereal mixture; sprinkle on top of banana mixture. Top each with cherry, if desired.
