    List of Ingredients

    12 med pop corn balls

2 quarts popped JOLLY TIME Pop Corn
    1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup light OR dark corn syrup
    1/3 cup water
1/4 cup (1/2 stick=4 tblsps) butter OR margarine
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract

    Recipe

Keep popped pop corn warm in 200ºF oven while preparing syrup.

In 2-qt saucepan, stir together sugar, corn syrup, water, butter & salt. Cook over med heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Continue cooking, without stirring, until temp reaches 270ºF on candy thermometer until small amount of syrup dropped into very cold water separates into threads, which are hard but not brittle. Remove from heat; add vanilla; stir just enough to mix. Slowly pour syrup over popped pop corn; toss well. Cool just enough to handle.

In center of 8" square plastic wrap, place 1 cup mixture. Shape into balls. Twist wrap; tie securely.
