    This came from a cookbook that was done years and years ago from the
    Andy Griffith Show. It's a great tasting soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
    1 lb lentils
    1/2 cup chopped onions
    1/2 cup sliced celery
    1/2 cup sliced carrots
    1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
    2-1/2 teaspoons salt
    1-1/2 teaspoons oregano
    1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
    8 cups water
    1 (20 ounce) can tomatoes

    Recipe



    In a large stock pot, combine all of the ingredients except the
    tomatoes. Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Add the tomatoes and simmer
    for 30 minutes.
