List of Ingredients
1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
10.5 oz can chicken broth
2 T butter
2 T white sugar
1 T chopped onion
1/2 t baking soda
2 c heavy cream
Recipe
Combine all but cream in a heavy pot and simmer low one hour.
Warm cream in microwave and add to soup.
I pureed the tomatoes before cooking (I like a smooth tomato soup - too many years of Campbell's!), used chicken base instead of canned broth, 1 T of sugar and a couple of sprinkles of onion powder (didn't have a fresh one) - Delish
