    Posted by: whitewater I have been told that this recipe makes the best stuffing ever. I don't have exact amounts, just go by taste.


    List of Ingredients




    Jiffy Corn Bread mix (I usually use 4 boxes) -prepare according to package directions. Bake in 11 x 15 x 2 baking sheet. I usually do this the night before. Cut into 1" cubes.

    SAUTEE in butter:
    grated carrot
    chopped celery
    diced onion
    fresh thyme, rosemary, and garlic
    ADD 1 pkg JIMMY DEAN SAGE SAUSAGE- brown. Don't drain

    Recipe



    Combine sauteed veggies with corn bread cubes in huge bowl. Season with salt and pepper and add 1-2 cans of chicken broth. Add dried cranberries. Season to taste. Add 2 beaten eggs. Bake in casserole dish at 350 degrees for about an hour.
    This doesn't need gravy. It is fabulous on it's own.
