    I think that there are two different approaches, one to cook everything and freeze and the other is to have the meals packaged and ready to go. to give you an example-with one you make the chicken noodle soup, including cooking the noodles and freeze, the other you freeze the meat and the broth, perhaps even tape the noodle pkg to the chicken and then cook the noodles fresh that day. It may be a subtle difference, but something you may want to think about as you are getting organized. And foods freeze and reheat differently, such as potatoes don't freeze to well, but corn does.
    One of the best tips I read for this type of preparation is to cook your chicken or roast or beans overnight in the crockpot, that way it is ready to go the next day

    the other alternate method I have read about is to make 3 of everything, starting slowly. Start with 3 chicken casseroles, eat one and two in freezer and then keep adding to your stock. It starts slower, but may not be as overwhelming as the marathon cooking day.
