    Elegant Fudge Pie

    List of Ingredients

    VANILLA WAFER-PECAN CRUST
    1 cup vanilla wafer, crushed (25 wafers)
    1/2 cup pecan, finely chopped
    1/4 cup butter, melted

    ELEGANT FUDGE PIE
    3/4 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate square, melted and cooled
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 eggs

    TOPPING
    1 cup heavy cream
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe

    1. Vanilla Wafer-Pecan Crust:
    Combine ingredients in bowl; mix well. Press crumb mixture into bottom and up sides of 9" pie plate. Bake in 300° oven 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool on rack.

    2. Elegant Fudge Pie:
    Cream together butter and 1 C. sugar in bowl until light and fluffy, using an electric mixer at medium speed. Beat in cooled chocolate and 1 tsp. vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 4 minutes after each addition. Turn into cooled Vanilla Wafer-Pecan Crust.

    3. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours before serving.

    4. To serve, whip heavy cream, 1 tbs sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla in chilled bowl until soft peaks form, using an electric mixer at high speed. Spread whipped cream evenly over pie.

    5. Serve and enjoy!
