    Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 head broccoli, broken into florets
    1/2 head cauliflower, broken into florets
    1/3 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 red onion, sliced very thin
    1/2 cup mayonnaise, to start
    1/4 to 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
    dash freshly ground pepper

    Recipe



    1. Drop the broccoli and cauliflower into rapidly boiling salted water. Boil approximately 2 to 3 minutes or until as tender as you like. Drain into a colander and run cold water over vegetables to stop the cooking process.

    2. Combine broccoli, cauliflower, bacon and onion

    3. Start with 1/2 cup mayonnaise, stir into veggies and bacon until completely incorporated. - If the dressing is barely coating everything, add more mayonnaise.

    4. Now add 1/4 to 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and a dash of pepper.
