    This is a MUST TRY one time

    List of Ingredients




    10lbs catfish
    3 lbs. onions
    3 lbs. potaotes
    2 lbs. bacon
    2 cans tomatoe sauce
    1 tall can Carnation evaporated milk
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Wash the catfish (after you have cleaned them of course) and frozen catfish nuggets from Wal Mart maybe used in place of fresh catfish
    Put the fish in a large pot .cover with water add salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Let this boil slowly,stirring and keeping enough water to cover fish.
    Meanwhile cut the bacon,regular breakfast bacon into small pieces,fry til crisp BUT not hard,drain on paper towel.
    Now peel and cut into bite sizes the onions and peeled potatoes,fry separetly in the bacon grease,drain well.
    Now add these to the pot with the cooked catfish and stir.Simmer for about 30 mins. stirring often.
    Next add the eveporated milk and the tomatoe sause .stir and let simmer til heated. Watch carefully so not to scortch as after you add the tomatoe sauce you must watch carefully.
    If needed after simmering all this together you can add either more water or another can of evaported milk.Heat only til hot .DO NOT BOIL.
