1 2/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups shredded zucchini
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour 13x9-inch baking pan.

Beat sugar, butter and oil in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Add to butter mixture alternately with buttermilk beating well after each addition. Stir in zucchini.

Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with chips. Bake 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool on wire rack. Cut into squares.
