    Pecan pie Bars

    List of Ingredients




    2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 cup margerine, softened
    2 t. vanilla extract, divided
    4 eggs, divided
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup corn syrup
    1 cup broken pecans

    Recipe



    Mix sugar, margerine, 1 t. vanilla, and 1 egg. Stir in flour and press into bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake until edges are brown at 350 (about 10-15 mnutes) Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and eggs. Stir in pecans and pour over crust and bake 25-30 minutes. Loosen edges from pan, let cool and cut into bars.
