    Recipe Introduction


    Concord Grapes, Green tomatoes and some cream.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 partly green tomatoes
    • 1 1/2 cups concord grapes
    • 1 1/4 cup sugar
    • 3 tbsp flour
    • salt
    • cream


    Instructions


    1. Wash tomatoes and grapes. Line your pie pan with pastry. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on the pastry
    2. Slice tomatoes very thin and place a layer over the pastry.
    3. With a sharp knife cut each grape through. Remove seeds and lay open over the tomatoes until fairly well covered. Cover with 1/2 each of the sugar and flour and sprinkle with the salt.
    4. Repeat making two layers in all. Cover with top crust. Moisten edges of pastry with water and seal. Trim.
    5. Brush top of crust with cream and bake in a hot oven [425F] 10 minutes. Decrease to 350F and continue baking 30 minutes or until browned.
