Flannel Cakes (Lillie Freeman)

1 cup of sifted flour
2 T sugar
1 T baking powder
1/2 t. salt
2 eggs
2 T melted butter


Recipe




Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs until light and stir in melted butter. Blend flour and egg mix together as lightly as possible until hardly mixed. Drop by tablespoonful onto hot greased 'grittle' and brown on both sides.
