The famed Confederate general Stonewall Jackson passed through Loudoun during the war. His meeting with top commanders Robert E. Lee, J.E.B. Stuart and James Longstreet is recorded at a home on King Street in Leesburg. This recipe is named for modern-day historian Robert K. Krick, leading authority on Gen. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia.
