    Wings Marrakesh

    List of Ingredients

    WINGS MARRAKESH
Ahh, the exotic flavors of the Mideast! And not a bad song by Crosby Stills & Nash, either! By the way, try to use real rice for this, not Uncle Ben's. Big difference!
    Ingredients:

    12 wings
    1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 1/4 cups water
    1/3 cup grated onion
2 cans (32 ounce) peeled plum tomatoes,
drained, seeded and coarsely chopped (or 3
    pounds fresh plum tomatoes)
    1 tablespoon tomato paste
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

    Recipe

    Makin' It:
Combine the garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and oil in a bowl. Add wings and toss until coated. In a skillet, combine the water, onion, tomatoes, tomato paste and cinnamon. Add the wings and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 40 minutes. Remove the wings to a serving dish and keep warm. Continue to cook sauce over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add honey and season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon sauce over wings, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over fluffed rice.
