    No Bowl Cake

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 c flour
    1 c sugar
    3 Tbs cocoa powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking soda
    5 Tbs melted butter
    1 c cold water
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 Tbs white vinegar

    FROSTING
    1 sq semisweet chocolate (1/2 oz)
    3 Tbs butter
    3 Tbs heavy cream
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 3/4 c confectioners sugar

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the dry ingredients in an ungreased 8x8 inch square cake pan. Then makie three holes or depressions in the dry material. Into one hole you pour the butter, in the second hole you pour the water and vanilla and in the third you pour the vinegar. Stir everything to blen well.
    Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the cake shrinkis a little from the sides. Let cake cool then Frost.

    FROSTING
    Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or microwave. Remove from heat. Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract. With an electric beater, mix in sugar and beat until smooth.
