    List of Ingredients

    • 6 thin slices round steak or tenderloin, about 2 oz each
    • 2-3 TBS olive oil
    • 1 1/4 c fresh porcini or baby portobello mushrooms
    • 1/4 c flour
    • 3/4 c Marsala wine
    • 1/4 tsp sea salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper

    Instructions

    1. In a small pan, saute the mushrooms in a bit of olive oil or butter over medium heat to soften, about 5-8 minutes and set aside

    2. f you use roand steak you may have to pound it to make it nice and thin.

    3. Heat the olive oil in roomy pan. Dust the meat with the flour; shake off excess.

    4. Add to the pan and cook on both sides until done, about 3 minutes per side.

    5. Add the wine and let cook just until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Add the salt, pepper and mushrooms and stir gently.

    6. Add a little beef or vegatable broth if the sauce gets too thick.
