    My Baked Mac 'n Cheese

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
    2 Tbs butter
    2 Tbs flour
    3 c milk
    1 1/2 tsp ground dried mustard
    1 tsp worcestershire sauce
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 dash hot sauce
    1/4 lb processed cheese
    3 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350

    Prepare macaroni according to package directions for al dente

    Melt butter in small skillet, add the flour to create a roux. Heat milk over low heat just until warm and add the seasonings. Mix roux into warm milk mixture to combine. Add the processed cheese and 3 cups of the cheddar cheese. Stir constantly until all of the cheese is melted.

    Mix together the cooked macaroni and the cheese-roux mixture. Pour into a shallow 2 qt baking dish which has been greased or sprayed with non stick spray. Spread the final 1/2 c of cheese over the top and bake for 30-35 minutes. If desired, can place under broiler to really brown the top.

    6-8 servings
