    Bow Tie Chicken Pasta Salad

    Needs to marinate overnight


    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup olive oil
    • 6 Tbs tarragon vinegar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 3/4 tsp Tobasco
    • 6 Tbs sugar
    • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
    • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and soaked in the dressing and then removed.
    • Salad
    • 1/2 lb bow tie pasta, cooked
    • 1/2 cup frozen baby frozen peas
    • 1 cup grape tomatoes
    • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breasts
    • 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts or pecans
    • 1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped


    Instructions


    1. Make dressing the day before serving.
    2. Marinate chicken, pasta and peeled garlic cloves in dressing overnight.
    3. Add remaining salad ingredients just before serving.


    Final Comments


    I generally cut this recipe in half.
