    Buttermilk-Bacon Salad Dressing

    My Own Personal Recipes

    This is great on a tossed salad or used as the dressing in a pasta salad.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 strips bacon
    • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    • 8 oz. low-fat sour cream (or regular)
    • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
    • 1/2 tsp. oregano
    • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
    • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper


    Instructions


    1. In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel and crumble.
    2. In a mixing bowl, combine bacon, buttermilk and sour cream. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.


    Final Comments


    Yield: about 2 1/2 cups
