    2 cups brown sugar
    2 cups sifted flour
    1/4 pound shortening
    1 egg
    1 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon soda
    1 pinch salt
    2 or more Heath candy bars = toffee and chocolate
    1/2 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Chop Heath candy bars; mix with nuts. Mix with fingers until crumbly; flour, sugar and shortening.
    Take out a cup of the mixed 3 ingredients.
    Then with the remaining mix add egg, milk, soda and salt. Beat and put in a greased pan.
    Add the cup of mixture over the top of the cake mix in the pan and sprinkle the candy and nuts over all.
    Let bake 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
