    "Easy waffles turn hearty with the addition of cheese and sausage. Breakfast, brunch or dinner never tasted this good!"

    Prep: 10 min
    Start To Finish: 25 min


    Twelve 4-inch waffles


    2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
    1 1/3 cups milk
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 egg
    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
    1/3 lb bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained (1 cup)


    1. Heat waffle iron; grease if necessary. In large bowl, stir all ingredients until blended.
    2. Pour about 1 cup batter onto center of hot waffle iron; close lid.
    3. Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle. Repeat with remaining batter.
