Pizza Tot Casserole

1 lb. ground beef (I used 3-lbs.)
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can (11-1/8 oz) condensed Italian tomato soup, undiluted (could not find this so I bought RAGU hearty Parmesan & Romano) 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella (I bought Sargento Italian 6 cheese blend of mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan, Romano, Fontina & Asiago cheese)
1 pkg. frozen tator tots (I used seasoned Ore Ida)
Slices, cut in 1/2, Armour Premium Pepperoni (Italian Style) for a spicy flavor

In skillet, cook beef, pepper & onion until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Add soup and mushrooms.
Transfer to greased baking dish (sprayed with butter flavor PAM).
Top with cheese & potatoes.
Bake uncovered at 400º for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes
