    Butterscotch Apple Squares

    Makes 12 servings

    Ingredients
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
    1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    2 small all-purpose apples, peeled and chopped (about 1-1/4 cups)
    1 (6-ounce) package butterscotch-flavored chips
    1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
    1-1/3 cups flaked coconut
    1 cup chopped nuts



    Prep Time 15 minutes
    Bake Time 25 to 30 minutes




    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass dish). In 13×9-inch baking pan, melt butter in oven. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over butter; top with apples.

    2. In heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt chips with EAGLE BRAND®. Pour butterscotch mixture evenly over apples. Top with coconut and nuts; press down firmly.

    3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.
