    4 pita breads
    1 1/2 cups (about 6 oz) shredded Monterey jack cheese
    1 zucchini (about 1/2 cup) chopped
    1 tomato (about 1/2 cup) chopped
    1 onion (about 1/2 cup) chopped
    1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies, drained
    Lettuce or shredded cabbage
    Garlic flavored Italian salad dressing

    Combine cheese, zucchini, tomato, onion & chilies with a small amount (just enough to make the ingredients spread) mixing well. Cut to top off each pita & gently place a layer of lettuce or cabbage inside. Spoon the cheese mixture on the lettuce & top with another layer of lettuce/cabbage.

    SERVINGS: 4 TIME: 20 minutes

    If making in advance refrigerate the cheese mixture until ready to use. Sandwich should keep at room temperature for 3-4 hours.
