Chocolate Snack Cake

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (do not use self rising)
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup cold water
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350.
- Grease at square pan 8x8x2, or a round pan 9x1 ½ inches with shortening and lightly flour.
- Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
- Mix oil, vinegar, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Vigorously stir oil mixture and water into the flour mixture for about 1 minute, or until well blended. Immediately pour into baking pan.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool 15 minutes.
