    Easy Broccoli and Cheese Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth
    • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen broccoli
    • 1 cup fat free skim milk
    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 6 ounces (1.5 cups) Cheddar Cheese, cubed


    Instructions


    1. Place chicken broth and broccoli in a 2-quart sauce pan.
    2. Cook over medium-high heat unil mixture comes to a boil.
    3. Reduce heat to medium.
    4. Cook until broccoli is tender (6 to 8 minutes.)
    5. Stir together milk and flour in a small bowl until smooth.
    6. Slowly add flour mixture to soup, stirring constantly.
    7. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a full boil (5 minutes).
    8. Boil 1 minute.
    9. Reduce heat to low.
    10. Stir in cheese until melted.
