    This light and delicate "candy" will melt in your mouth.My friend made me some years ago and I wanted the recipe so hope you will try it and like them too.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
    4 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla oralmond flavoring
    Beat egg whites til they separate.
    Add sugar slowly,add salt and flavoring.
    Fold in the chopped nuts then drop onto a greased ( buttered ) cookie sheet.
    Bake in a very low oven 200 degrees for 45 mins.
    Let cool before removing. ENJOY!!!!!!!

    I have added food coloring to this ,just a little will do and fold in gently.DO NOT mess with too much.
    These are so neat and easy and always enjoyed.
