    1. I usually cut the squash in half, pull out the seeds, and then place cut side down in a microwave dish and microwave for about 10 minutes...or you can bake it at 350degree for about an hour. When it is cooked, the flesh should scrape out of the hull just like strands of spagetti. I normally eat some and store the rest in the frig. To reheat it, I use a skillet, put the squash strands, canned mshrooms, and mix those up then when that is hot, I add spagetti sauce and little LF parmesan cheese...it is almost just like eating spachetti...and I really don't like veggies too well, so for me to eat it is a miracle.

2.I don't even cut it in half before I microwave it. (Too afraid to cut myself.) I poke it several times with a meat fork and put it in a pie plate. I put 1/4 c. water in the pie plate and microwave for 8 min. and check it. I flip it (carefully) and do it again until it's tender. Let it rest for 10-20 min. Then slice in half (long ways). Scoop out the seeds, then use a fork to separate the strands. I put a low-cal cream sauce over it and toss it with some cooked shrimp, or toss it with a small amount of pesto, or toss it with a tiny amount of olive oil, romano cheese, and basil...I could go on.
