    Rum Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
    • 1 pkg Duncan Hines Yellow cake mix
    • 1pkg vanilla instant pudding mix
    • 1/2 cup rum
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/2 cup salad oil
    • 4 eggs

    • Hot Rum Glaze:
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup margarine
    • 1/4 cup rum
    • 1/4 cup water


    Instructions


    1. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, rum, water, salad oil, and eggs

    2. Beat 2 - 4 minutes medium speed of electric mixer

    3. Coat bundt pan with Pam spray, spread pecans on bottom of pan

    4. Pour batter into pan and bake at 325 for 50 - 60 minutes

    5. Combine ingredients for glaze and boil 2 - 3 minutes

    6. When cake is done punch holes and pour hot rum glaze over hot cake

    7. The glaze will cause cake to settle

    8. Allow cake to cool in pan for 30 minutes before turning out
