    Saucy Porcupine Meatballs

    List of Ingredients




    16 oz tomato sauce
    2 tb brown sugar
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 lb. extra lean ground beef
    1/4 c. dry instant uncooked rice (I used regular rice and increased the simmer time)
    1 tsp. worcestershire
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper

    Recipe



    Mix tomato sauce and brown sugar in large skillet and turn heat on low and begin to warm.

    Mix the rest of the ingredients. Roll into walnut size meatballs and lay in pan. Spoon sauce over. Increase heat to boiling, reduce to simmer and simmer 25 min (longer for regular rice) until meatballs are done and rice is tender (I simmered mine with the regular rice for about 40 min while cooking other items to serve with it...I wanted to make sure the rice was done).
