    Peppermint Candy Fudge

    2 1/2 cups sugar
    1 5-ounce can evaporated milk
    8 ounces vanilla-flavored candy coating, cut into pieces
    1/2 cup finely crushed peppermint candy
    1/2 cup margarine or butter
    1 7-ounce jar marshmallow creme
    4 drops peppermint oil

    Recipe



    In large saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over medium eat, stirring constantly. Boil until it reaches the soft ball stage, stirring constantly. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla coating; blend until smooth. Stir in crushed peppermint candy and peppermint oil. Pour in buttered 8x12 baking dish. Cool and cut in squares.
